Does the Catholic Church’s Culture of Life only apply to the unborn?
Of course not! But even though most of the Catholic faithful clearly understand the Church’s position on when life begins, there is a frequent misunderstanding and lack of clarity among our parishioners when it comes our Church’s position on end-of-life issues, such as organ donation.
As a result, many parishioners miss out on their last opportunity to charitably give the Gift of Life to others, including other Catholics, by failing to register as an organ, eye, and tissue donors.
